Starfish Plant

This cute and chubby plant is, like the rest of the sansevieria family, one of the easiest plants you can have in your home. In its thick cylindrical leaves it stores water for dry periods and therefore requires very little watering. The thick leaves and the fan-shaped body makes it resemble a starfish - hence the name Starfish Plant. If you look closer, the incredibly beautiful and detailed pattern will stand out with alternating dark and light stripes.

Care

Watering: It is actually important that a Starfish Plant dries out completely between waterings. It only needs to be watered once a month and in winter, it can easily survive up to 2-3 months without water.

Location: It doesn't get any easier than with the Starfish Plant. You can place it anywhere in your home. It doesn't mind direct sunlight, but can also survive full shade.

Temperature: Thrives at room temperatures from 15-30 °C.
