Palm Lily

This plant is one of the easiest larger houseplants there is. It is both easy to care for and easy to place in your home as it does not take up too much space. In nature, you will find this gorgeous palm tree in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and the Eastern parts of Mexico.

In its wild life, the plant blooms with beautiful creamy white flowers during the summer period, hence the name Palm Lily.

Botanical name: Yucca elephantipes.

Care

Watering: It only needs to be watered once or twice a month when the soil has dried out.

Location: The Palm Lily is one of the few plants that tolerates direct sunlight, but also does well in partial shade.

Remove older leaves: Over time the oldest leaves will become yellow/brown and wither. You just peel these off and new leaves will soon appear from the top.

Temperature: The plant thrives well in the Danish indoor climate with temperatures between 15-30 °C, but it does not like colder temperatures.
