The Shuttlecock Plant has its origins in the tropical climate in Indonesia and the world's second largest island, New Guinea. The long and featherlike leaves make it look a bit like a shuttlecock. The leaves are two-colored with a clear green color on the upper side, and a bordeaux tone on the back of the leaves.
